ABOUT ME
Chris Simandl
My career is my passion: I have been collaboratively setting direction, shaping products and ideas as well as motivating their progress. Team and product success has always been my personal objective. There is an amazingly, magic feeling when people come together under your mentoring and coaching in a team spirit of camaraderie and accord: a bit like being a part of a winning sports team.
During the course of my management career I have learned that there are 3 axis’ (seen above) which require equal focus:

The Human axis (“Who” or moderating and motivating groups)

The Technological axis (“How” or understanding and using/deploying technologies)

The Business axis (“Why” or Return on Investment (ROI) for the effort as well as customer interaction)

While I have enjoyed success managing all three axis simultaneously, I am discovering, in retrospect, that it is the Human Axis that has been my most heartfelt achievement with the team learning, accomplishment and mutual satisfaction.
In very close second, comes the Technological Axis. As an technically creative entrepreneur I am continually learning, assimilating, designing and benefitting from such new disruptive tech as:

Cloud Computing and “Cloud as a Service” (CaaS)

“Managed SD-WAN” replacing traditional transport technologies (MPLS, etc.)

4G-to-5G and the “always-connected” mobile broadband
o Smartphone technologies and the “Computer in your pocket” era. • VoIP and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)
o Including public Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime, Viber, Chat, etc.
o And including UCaaS on the SD-WAN
o In connection-based “single-source-of-truth” paradigms (ie: HR and “things”)

Internet of Things (IoT)

Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies(DLT)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Chatbot technologies thereon

And more.

From a vocational perspective, I am a co-founding an emerging start-up and ICO around all of the above technologies in the influencer and fidelity marketspaces. This, of course, is all sweat equity today.

Finally, I am fully fluent in both English & French (with French Nationality) and conversant in Spanish.
